Description
St Alban's Vicarage is a vicarage built in 1914 by John N Cocker. It is constructed of English bond brick with sandstone dressings and has a clay tile roof. The building has two storeys plus an attic, featuring a central segmental overlight and 2-light mullion windows on either side. Above these are two 3-light mullion windows, and above that is a hipped dormer window. The fifth bay is corbelled out at the first floor level and has a gable with a 1-light window. The other windows vary in size, including 1, 2, 3, and 4-light mullion windows, all fitted with leaded casements. The roof is steeply pitched, and there is a two-storey canted bay window on the left gable, designed in the manner of Norman Shaw. At the rear, there are two dormer windows and brick relieving arches, along with two ridge chimney stacks.
