Description

Minorca House is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is built from squared rubble and features a graduated stone slate roof. The layout is a double-depth central-staircase plan, with two storeys and a 20th-century porch at the front. The central door is obscured by this porch. On each floor, there are two three-light recessed cavetto-moulded stone mullion windows, along with a similar central window on the first floor that has two lights. The house has raised eaves and gable stacks. At the rear, there are four three-light flat-faced recessed mullion windows, one of which has had its mullions removed, as well as a similar two-light stair window, a 20th-century inserted window, and a small lean-to extension.
