Description

The Audenshaw War Memorial, created around 1920, is a war memorial designed by sculptor P. G. Bentham and cast at Albion Art Foundry. It features a bronze statue of a battle-clad figure holding a gun, which stands on a tall square shaft. The shaft has a plain pediment and displays rolls of honour on each side. The memorial includes a plinth and stylobate, along with various inscriptions.
