Description
Ladybridge Farmhouse is a 18th-century farmhouse, dated 1764 as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed from rendered brick with tile hanging, and has a roof of graduated stone slates. The building follows a double-depth central-staircase plan, extending over two storeys, with a lean-to addition against the left-hand gable. A segmental arch with a keystone frames the door, which is located to the left of the centre of the facade. Two three-light timber mullion and transom casement windows are present on each floor, featuring stone sills and cambered brick arches with keystones. Gable stacks are a prominent feature.
