Description

This is a 17th-century house located on Higham Street in Bramhall. It is constructed using square-panel box framing, and features a graduated stone slate roof and brick stacks. The house is two storeys high and comprises two bays, with a lean-to addition against the right gable. The exterior includes a stone plinth, diagonal braces, and overhanging eaves. A battened door is located in the second bay, alongside a replacement three-light casement window to the right, and a similar two-light window above. The left gable end has been largely restored with two two-light windows. The right gable displays exposed framing. A chimney stack is situated on the side wall of the first bay and on the right gable. Inside, the internal partitions are timber-framed.
