Description

No. 119 Station Road is a house built around 1835. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan with a total of five bays and two storeys. The entrance, located in the fourth bay, consists of a four-panel door framed by engaged Tuscan columns and a plain segmental fanlight above. There are four sash windows on the ground floor and five on the first floor, all without glazing bars. A sill band runs along the first floor, and there is a wooden cornice at the eaves. The house has chimney stacks at the ridge and gable. To the right gable-end, there is a single-storey wing with two windows, which is slightly later in date, as well as a wing at the rear.
