Description
The railings, walls, gate piers, and gates to the Cathedral of St John in Salford were constructed around 1845. They are made of stone and wrought iron. The stone walls surround the cathedral precinct, with the eastern side featuring pilasters. This side also has stone gate piers that support a pair of wrought-iron gates from the later 19th century. Additionally, there is a small arched side gate nearby.
