Description

Duffins Cottage is a house dating from 1717, as indicated by a tablet above a former door. It features coursed watershot stonework, a stone slate roof, and brick chimney stacks. The building has a two-unit, two-storey plan with door openings for each unit, although one of these openings has been blocked up. At the rear, there is a small 20th-century lean-to extension. The cottage has a stone plinth and dripmould, with two windows on each floor. The housepart includes a 5-light recessed flush-faced mullion window, while the other unit has had its mullions removed and a 20th-century porch added to the right side.
