Description

No. 7 and Heather Cottage are two houses dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof. Each house is one bay wide and has three storeys, with a 20th-century lean-to extension on the right and at the rear. No. 7, which is the earlier of the two, has its entrance at the rear, while Heather Cottage is accessed through a 20th-century lean-to against the gable. Both houses have six-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows on each floor, with No. 7 featuring king mullions. There are also two-light windows on the gable and three-light windows at the rear, along with gable and ridge chimney stacks.
