Description
No. 13 Diglee is a house that was originally two separate houses, dating from the early 19th century with a later addition. It is constructed from large dressed stone blocks and features a graduated stone slate roof. The later addition is made from watershot stone. The building has a two-bay single-depth plan and stands two storeys high, with a two-bay 19th-century extension on the left side. There is a projecting plinth, and the door is located in the second bay with a dressed stone surround. The ground floor has windows with four, three, and four lights, while the first floor features six and three-light windows, all with recessed flat-faced stone mullions. A gable chimney stack is present, complete with watertabling and an oversailing course. The later addition includes rectangular window openings.
