Description
Chadderton War Memorial is a war memorial dating from around 1920. It features a bronze statue of a battle-clad figure holding a gun, which stands in front of a stone obelisk on a pedestal and stylobate. The inscription on the memorial reads, "In honour of the men of Chadderton who made the supreme sacrifice and in grateful remembrance of all who served their country in the wars of 1914-19 and 1939-45."
