Description

Westleigh War Memorial is a war memorial built in 1919, created by the sculptor Bratt of Leigh. It features a battle-clad figure holding a gun, which stands on a tapering square shaft with a stepped plinth. The front of the memorial is inscribed with the words "To the glorious memory of our fallen heroes," and there are rolls of honour displayed on each side.
