Description

Warth Cottages is an early 19th-century house located on the east side of Huddersfield Road in Diggle, Saddleworth. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The house has a double-depth design with two bays and three storeys, and it is characterized by raised quoins. The central door has a square-cut surround, with a four-light window to the left. Each bay has five-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows on every floor. The building also includes kneelers and gable chimney stacks, four-light windows at the rear, two-light windows in the gables, and a blocked taking-in door.
