Description
This is a small house located on Crab Lane in Blackley, Manchester. It was likely built in the late 18th century and has been altered since. The house is constructed of red brick in an English garden wall bond pattern, with a stone slate roof. It has a rectangular, single-depth plan. The facade is two stories high and has a two-window arrangement. A doorway is offset to the right of centre and is now sheltered by an early 20th-century triangular porch. The windows are early 20th-century 3-light, top-hung casements, all flanked by what appear to be decorative shutters. Gable chimneys are present, with the left one protruding. The rear of the house features similar windows to the front. The interior remains uninspected. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the area.
