Description
This small four-storey warehouse, located on the west corner of the junction with Simpson Street in Ancoats, Manchester, is now used as a handbag workshop. It was likely built in the mid-19th century and has undergone slight alterations. The building is constructed of brick and features a corrugated sheet roof, with an almost square plan. The façade is gabled and includes a central four-stage loading slot that has timber sills, board doors, and a crane jib, flanked by segmental-headed windows. The left side of the building has three windows and a central segmental-headed doorway at ground level, along with segmental-headed windows. This warehouse forms a group with the Sharp Street Ragged School to its right.
