Description

Union Bridge is a small public road bridge over the River Irk, which is now closed. It was likely built in the 18th century or very early 19th century. The bridge is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a single low segmental arch with plain voussoirs. There is no parapet, but iron railings are present on the south side.
