Description
The boundary stone on Knott Mill Bridge in Manchester is a township boundary marker, likely from the 18th century. It is made of sandstone and features a low, round-headed shape with a slightly slanted face. The stone has the word "TOWNSHIP" inscribed around the top, and there are remnants of lettering on each side of the center line. This lettering is mostly eroded but is probably meant to read "MANCHESTER" and "HULME."
