Description

No. 29 Pot Green is a 17th-century house, built as one with No. 1 Summerseat Lane, which adjoins it to the right. The house is constructed of coursed rubble. It is two storeys high with two windows originally of two lights each, though the mullions have since been removed, leaving surrounds of 17th-century design. Slender drip-moulds are above the lower windows. The roof is covered with stone slabs. The rear elevation retains mullions in its two-light windows. Within the gable is a plain door and a large two-light mullioned window; one light likely contains original leading, and the other features an early sliding sash window with glazing bars.
