Description
Peel Hall is primarily an 18th-century stone building that stands two storeys high. The central section features a gabled front with two 2-light mullioned windows on the first floor, each beneath a drip-mould. There is a doorway located under the right-hand window, which is dated "H/EM/1706" on a panel above a shaped lintel and has a studded door. The building has moulded kneelers on its coping.
To the right of the central section, there is a wing that is at right angles to the main building, linked by one bay of walling that includes a studded door leading to the garden. This wing is dated "Hamer/Saml Marth/1759" on its left-hand side and contains one window with splay mullions, featuring a 3-light window above and a 4-light window below. The right-hand outer half of this wing has an outbuilding character and is likely much later in date.
To the left of the central section, there is one window on the ground floor and two above, which have been altered but still retain drip-moulds. The far left side features a later 19th-century section, which is not included in the listing.
