Description

Number 3 on Manchester Road is a building dating from around 1830, with alterations made to the rear around 1850. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys. The front features four sash windows with glazing bars. Below the third window, there is a door with six moulded panels, which is flanked by Ionic columns and topped with a depressed arch. The door also has an engraved glass fan above it. A sill band runs along the building, and there is likely a later box gutter cornice. Inside, the hall boasts rich plasterwork.
