Description
Bank Chambers is a building constructed in 1868 by Blackwell and Son and Booth, located on Bank Street as an annex to the adjoining Barclays Bank. It is made of red brick with stone dressings and stands three storeys tall. The building features three arched windows on the top storey, which has a sill band above it. The other storeys have tall windows with cornices above, and the glazing includes wooden transmullioned designs. Rusticated bands run along the building and terminate in quoins. The structure is topped with a cornice and a blocking course.
