Description

At the west end of Bank Street, there are railings and railings leading down to the railway level, likely dating from around 1860. These railings are made of very heavy cast iron and stand about 6 feet tall. They feature sprouting finials and stanchions topped with larger pepper-pot finials. At the top of the steps, there are granite plinths and gate piers that have flat moulded caps, although the gates have been removed.
