Description
The former outbuildings to the north of Stormer Hill Farmhouse are likely from the mid-18th century and are positioned at right angles to the farmhouse. These structures include hand-made brick that once served as a shippon and stables, featuring a stone slab roof and a pitching eye for the loft. The shippon has three doors with flat surrounds. At the eastern end, which is furthest from the road, there is a barn made of rubble that is probably somewhat later in date, with a small barred window. The mostly open side to the rear is supported by three stone piers, and the building has a low-pitched roof that has been covered with mid-20th century slating.
