Description
Stormer Hill House is a Grade II listed building dated '1762' on its rainwater head. This three-storey brick house features four regular windows, with one on the ground floor altered, likely in the late 19th century, in a Queen Anne style, including two bay windows. The remaining windows have cambered stone heads with keystones; the first-floor windows are sashes without glazing bars, while the second floor has casements. The entrance includes a panelled door and a rectangular overlight set in a moulded stone doorcase with a cornice hood supported by brackets. The house has a moulded eaves cornice and a second rainwater head dated "RWH 1776". The gable end facing the road has two shallow rectangular bay windows and three small square windows, all with keystones. At the rear, there is a panelled door with a reeded doorcase, altered ground floor windows, two six-light windows featuring flat stone transoms and mullions, small panes, and keystones, along with three three-light stone-mullioned windows on the top floor. The roof is made of stone slabs.
