Description

Nos 2 to 8 Bank Street is a red brick terrace building dating from around 1840. It has two storeys and features two sash windows for each unit, with an additional arched window in the middle of the terrace on the ground floor. There are segmented-headed doorways located below the right-hand window of Nos 2 and 4, and below the left-hand windows of Nos 6 and 8. The doors consist of four moulded panels and are flanked by slender columns of free Corinthian order, with plain fan details above. The terrace also has a first-floor sill band, a gutter cornice, and a blocking course.
