Description

Horrobin Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage constructed from coursed and squared rubble in small blocks, topped with a heavy slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features a two-unit double pile plan, with a doorway located against the stack on the left side. The exterior includes plain chamfered stone mullioned windows, with three lights on one floor and four lights on the other, present on both levels. The gables are coped and have moulded kneelers, along with brick gable end stacks that have stone caps. A central stair window is located on the rear elevation. Lean-to structures have been added against each gable wall. The interior has not been inspected.
