Description
Holmes Farmhouse is a 17th-century house, with a datestone reading "D I/1721". It is constructed of dressed stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building has a base and a band over the ground floor, along with coped gables. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are mostly flat-faced mullions, with the majority being three lights, although the first bay on the ground floor has a four-light window. The entrance is located at the left-hand end and features a gabled porch with a glazed outer door; the inner door has the datestone above it. There are two gable-end stacks, and the rear of the house is similar in appearance to the front.
