Description
The stables to Paddington Grange, located to the east, were built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central opening has double doors with an elliptical arch, flanked by smaller round-headed openings, one of which has been altered. Above the side doors, there are circular brick-lined pitch holes, and a diamond-shaped opening is located above the central door. The gable is pedimented. On the north side of the building, there are two large gothic-headed recesses. The stables face the entrance front of Paddington Grange and are listed for their group value.
