Description
98 and 100 Wilderspool Causeway is a building that dates from the early 19th century and was originally a warehouse located on the river bank, which has since been filled in and diverted. The structure is made of brick and consists of three storeys, featuring a moulded brick cornice, a stone band, and a slate roof. It has segmental headed windows with diagonal glazing bars. The building is in an L shape, with a wing on the south side that has a hipped roof and a round ventilator on the ridge. The north end of the building is occupied as a dwelling (No 98), which has later sash windows on its two storeys.
