Description
This portion of the boundary wall is located between The Square and the entrance to the Manor House in Ellesmere Port. It is part of the former Manor or Grange of St Werburgh's Abbey in Chester and features modern entrance gateways that interrupt the wall. The wall is constructed of squared coursed rubble with a plain weathered plinth, made from local sandstone. The stonework is likely of medieval origin.
