Description

The Coronation Lamp Post and Lantern, located in The Square, was erected in 1902. This fluted cast iron lamp post features a decorative base and carries an ornate plaque that reads, "ERECTED BY THE INHABITANTS OF INCE AND NEIGHBOURHOOD IN COMMEMORATION OF THE CORONATION OF KING EDWARD VII JUNE 23 1902." At the top, there is a six-sided lantern with a fume vent, which is surmounted by a decorative crown.
