Description

The table tomb of Mary Fletcher is located in St. Peter's Churchyard, 12 meters south of the south-west corner of the church. It dates from 1776 and is made of stone. The tomb features fluted antae at the corners and has a recessed panel at each end, with two recessed panels divided by a pilaster on each side. The inscription on the slab reads: "Here Lieth Inter'd the Body of Mary Daughter of Joseph and Hannah Fletcher of Norton who departed this Life the 30th of January 1776 in the 28th year of her Age."
