Description
Grandsire's Green Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of Flemish bond brown brickwork, topped with a grey slate roof. The building has two storeys and features three windows arranged symmetrically. The central bay slightly projects and contains a door made of six fielded panels, which is topped by a radial bar fanlight and set within a Tuscan porch. The front has a stone plinth and rusticated quoins at the corners, along with a moulded cornice made of painted stone. The windows are 12-pane recessed sashes, set in openings that have rusticated keystone wedge lintels and projecting stone cills. There are flush gable chimneys. At the rear, there is a wing made of English garden wall bond brown brick. The interior has not been inspected, but six-panel doors are visible.
