Description

Cobb Cottage is a mid-17th century cottage that has been altered and extended in the mid-20th century. It features repaired oak small framing and a clay tile roof. The building has one storey and an attic, with two windows on each storey. There is one three-pane window and one two-pane window, with the bedroom windows located under eyebrow dormers that have swept tiling. The cottage has two brick gable chimneys built within the oak frame. The front of the cottage is depicted in a sketch by T Raffles Davison from 1884, with only minor alterations since then. Inside, there are a few oak beams, but the lower storey has been altered.
