Description
Old Hall is a house from the 17th century that has undergone significant alterations. It features a combination of plaster, pebbledash, and brown brick, with the plaster on the front likely applied to an oak frame. The roof is covered with clay tiles. The building has two storeys, with a projecting cross-gable on the left and a right wing that has two windows. A sandstone plinth runs along the front, and both wings at the first floor and the cross-gable at the eaves level extend outwards, with convex jetties painted with quatrefoils. The lower storey has mullioned and transomed windows, while the upper storey features mullioned windows, all now fitted with single-pane lights. The house has bargeboards and two brick chimneys; one has three flues and the other has two flues, with each flue terminating in brick caps supported by a corbelled round arch. The interior does not have any visible features of special interest.
