Description

The Chimes is a cottage attached to a Tudor building, dating from the 17th century and altered over time. It features brick-nogged small-framing and has a grey slate roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and consists of two rooms with a central door that has been replaced. The windows are 20th-century four-pane wood casements that match the style of the building. There are two gabled dormers, likely from the 19th century, and a brick chimney located on the south gable as well as at the north end of the ridge. The interior has not been inspected, but oak beams are visible.
