Description

The causeway over the moat at Hatton Hall is a revetted structure, likely built in the early 19th century, though it may date back even earlier. It is made of dressed red sandstone that features tooling marks. The causeway has solid side walls that include a projecting band at road level. The parapet has been restored and features rounded coping. This structure is listed for its group value only.
