Description
Rosebank House is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on Byley Lane in Lach Dennis. The building features coloured brickwork and a slate roof, standing two storeys high with an attic and comprising two bays, including the south-west gable. It has projecting brick bands at the first and second floors, and a part-glazed door with bead and flush panels beneath an added gabled porch that has barge boards. The windows are tripartite sashes with stone sills and segmental arches on both the ground and first floors, while the attic contains two-light flush casements. Mid-ridge stacks are present on both roofs.
Inside, the farmhouse showcases small bevelled and cased beams, along with four-panel doors. The first floor features stop-chamfered beams, exposed ceiling joists, and wide boarded doors with old tee hinges. In the attic, there is a wide boarded door mounted on strap hinges.
