Description
The Thatched Cottage is a building that likely dates back to the 18th century and consists of two cottages that have been combined into one. It features a white-painted brick exterior and a thatched roof. The structure is one and a half storeys high, with a two-room left wing and a projecting cross-gable on the right side. There is an added lean-to porch with a tiled roof. The original boarded door has been replaced, and the main wing has casement windows with two 6-pane lights at the front. The lower storey of the cross-wing and the ends have replaced horizontal-pane metal windows, while there is a 4-pane bedroom window in the cross-wing. The building has two brick chimneys: one on the ridge at the junction of the wings and another in the cross-wing in front of the ridge junction.
