Description
Tarry-A-Wee is a mid to late 18th century, two-storey cottage located on Chester Road in Ellesmere Port and Neston. The cottage features a painted grey exterior and a grey Welsh slate roof. It has Tudor-style windows with moulded dripstones, sash frames that retain all glazing bars, and fixed Gothick heads. The front door has been replaced but includes an original pointed-pane fanlight that matches the windows, along with a pedimented hood supported by painted stone brackets. There is also a one-storey, one-window flush extension to the north, which has plain-headed sash windows.
