Description
Rupt Cottage is an early 19th-century house constructed of pink Flemish bond brick and topped with a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and features an entrance front with three bays that were originally arranged symmetrically. The central doorway projects slightly and is flanked by Tuscan pillars, topped with an open pediment. Above the door, there is a fanlight, and the door itself consists of six raised and fielded panels. To the right of the doorway is a sash window with four panes by four panes, complete with a stone sill and wedge lintel. The first floor has two similar windows. On the left side of the ground floor, there is a late 19th-century canted bay window.
