Description
Barnoon is a house located in Parkgate Village, dating from the mid-18th century with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features rendered brickwork with a textured finish and painted quoins on a projecting stone plinth, topped with a slate roof that has stone copings and rendered end stacks.
The exterior is three stories high with a two-window front. The entrance is situated in the gable wall to the left. The main front windows include 6/6 sash windows on the ground floor, 1/1 sash windows on the first floor, and squat 3/3 sash windows on the second floor. All windows have painted surrounds, sills, and lintels. The left side of the building has a six-panel door that features bead and flush lower panels, raised fielded and bolection moulded center panels, and glazed top panels beneath a rectangular overlight. The interior has not been inspected.
