Description

Hughes Bridge is an accommodation bridge on the Middlewich Branch Canal, built between 1827 and 1833, designed by Thomas Telford. It is constructed of washed brick, featuring a stone band and copings. The bridge has a single basket arch, with solid parapets and piers. Part of the bridge is located in Winsford Civil Parish.
