Description
The riverside and quay wall with steps is located at the foot of Dee Lane, likely constructed between 1865 and 1867 alongside the development of Grosvenor Park. It is made of coursed rock-faced yellow sandstone and features ashlar steps. The wall includes round piers with shallow domed caps positioned approximately every 2 meters, which flank the steps. There is a rounded stringcourse beneath a balustrade made of vertically-set stone slabs with narrow gaps in between, topped with machicolated stone coping.
