Description

Brick House Farmhouse is a mid-to-late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with a slate roof. The three-storey, symmetrical entrance front has bands of brickwork two bricks deep between the ground and first, and first and second floors. The central doorway has a round-arched ashlar surround with moulded springers and a keystone, and is flanked by a panelled door with a fanlight above. The ground floor has three-light casement windows to either side of the door, and two similar windows laterally. The first floor has two three-light casement windows in a similar arrangement, with an additional two-light casement window in the centre. The second floor mirrors this, though the windows are shorter.
