Description

The lych gate to the Church of St Thomas, built around 1870, is a timber structure set on a stone plinth with a tiled roof. It features two bays and has chamfered posts with angle braces that support trusses made of paired principals, with all members being chamfered. The gable ends are adorned with decorated bargeboards, and the roof is distinguished by a band of fish-scale tiles placed between plain tiles. This structure is listed for its group value only.
