Description

No. 36 Jordangate is an early 19th-century house located in Macclesfield. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a stone-flagged roof. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with the main doorway and passage entry situated to the left. The entrance has a round-headed archway with a plain fanlight above a panelled door, while the passage entrance is a simpler round arch. The house has sash windows with stone sills and flat-arched heads on both floors, although the lower window has been replaced by a bow window. There is a stack at the end wall.
