Description

No. 57 Roe Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a stone-flagged roof. The building has three storeys and a three-window range with a double-pile plan, and the entrance is located to the left. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped by a radial fanlight set within a round archway. To the right of the entrance, there are two round-arched sash windows with radial glazing, which together create a continuous arcade linked by a string course. The upper windows are 12-pane sashes with flat-arched gauged brick heads.
