Includes: No.10 WATERLOO STREET WEST. Pair of houses, formerly 3, now in partial use as offices, occupying corner site. c1820. Brick with stone-flagged roof. 3 storeys and basement. 3-window range to Bridge Street, with central entrance. Doorway in Tuscan pedimented case raised up steps with rusticated stonework. 6-panelled door with plain fanlight. Flanking windows are tripartite sashes, with 12-pane sashes on upper floors. Central first-floor window has rusticated stone head, the rest flat-arched brick heads. Return to Waterloo Street West a 6-window range. Single-window return to Birch House, then No.10 Waterloo Street West, forming a single build. Birch House return has ground-floor square oriel window with 4-pane sash window above. No.10 Waterloo Street West forming a 5-window range section to the right. Doorway to right of centre in Tuscan pedimented porch raised up steps with wrought-iron railings. 6-panelled door with radial fanlight. 12-pane sash windows with flat-arched brick heads. Left-hand window has channelled stuccoed head. Moulded wood eaves cornice, part now missing. End wall and axial stacks.
