Description
Henshaw Hall Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse, dated 1674 with a tablet recording the "Heirs to this land," identifying ten members of the Henshaw family. The farmhouse is constructed of red English garden wall bond brick with a slate roof. The front elevation has four bays, featuring a door in the second bay from the right, positioned beneath a stone tablet. To the right of the door is a single four-light casement window with a cambered head, and two windows are situated to the left. The first floor features similar windows with straight lintels. 19th-century additions have been made to the rear of the building. Inside, the ground floor retains chamfered ceiling beams, along with some small framing visible within the internal walls.
